Module: Overlay – introduction

The Overlay module is devoted to the subject of determining the anchorage depth of stapling reinforcement in composite structures. Reinforced concrete composite elements are two or more layers of concrete laid at different times. If there are design requirements for these segments to cooperate with each other (according to the principles of composite constructions), then the resulting plane of merging should transfer the internal forces occurring in it. The theory of shear at the interface between concretes casts at different times is fully based on the Eurocode2 (6.2.5) guidelines.
